Restaurant Vau scores from the moment you walk into a very modern and elegant in appearance and very comfortable until the market is undeniable! Superb artwork from the awesome award-winning artist Oliver Jordan Colonia adorn the walls. A touch of glossy catalogs of his work, we all enjoyed the review. The architecture is exciting and stimulating, and above all has a nice atmosphere.
We were there for lunch, without pressure of time and were veryrelaxed. An excellent Riesling Saar listed at 30 € the ball was rolling. Non-alcoholic, was dry, but with a nice fruit untouched, very easy to drink and you never give heartburn, and stayed on it through the meal. After much debate, we all chose different things from the menu to get a good idea of what to get the offer.
I followed a homemade tagliatelle with ragout of venison with roasted halibut with cabbage and caraway. The venison stew was the highlight for me, butall the required sensitivity and taste buds. The presentation of the food was very imaginative and they are seriously trying here. The service was efficient, pleasant and enjoyable, and we all enjoyed the experience. The portions are small, that have nothing, as we ate late at night before, had breakfast and were processed after a meal, rather than feeding. But if you were just in the mood to eat normally, then should eat more than 4 coursesSnacks to fill, an experience not to be cheap. Lunch for four cost € 400 for two courses, each with 3 bottles of wine with a touch. We would all return, and felt that was worthy of a Michelin star.
